Nottingham Collection

Nottingham Lace is made of 95% cotton with 5% polyester added for durability. The tightness of the weave and intricacy of pattern can only be produced on original Victorian looms with natural fibers. The point gauge refers to the number of stitches per inch. Fourteen point has 14 stitches per inch which is the tightest weave and the finest. Eigth point lace has a looser pattern and usually works best on bold patterns.
